The Merit In Poetry Award

The Award was founded in 1998, thanks to generous sponsorship from the poetry press Leviathan.  
The first series of the Award's publications comprises:

These unique books, produced by conventional printing techniques, are published in two editions:


          

Luxury collectors' hardback limited edition: numbered and signed @ £37.50 each (plus p&p at cost)
Standard paperback edition: soft cover with an image of the Custom House @ £8 each (plus p&p at cost)



The King’s Lynn Silver Folio


Published to mark the silver jubilee poetry festival in King's Lynn in 2009, The King's Lynn Silver Folio is a tribute by 68 poets to our festival’s director Tony Ellis, who co-founded the festival and has guided its fortunes and programmes. Contributors include Wendy Cope, Peter Porter, Carol Ann Duffy, George Szirtes, Anthony Thwaite and Kit Wright.

Edited by Michael Hulse (pictured below, with Tony), the edition is limited to 200 and is available only at the Festival or by contacting Tony Ellis.
